However, we think that international call rates are far too expensive! Alternatives using the Internet are also far too restrictive. Indeed, we believe that the best way to call is with a mobile phone and via the mobile carriers’ network.

According to that, our international, small, dynamic and young team, started to develop an innovative way to call friends with their mobile phones, using carriers’ network while benefiting from bargain prices.

Being iPhone addicts, and after several months of development, we began to use an early version of the application for ourselves. We figured out that it became impossible for us to call without Phoneplus. So, we decided to improve the development in order to make Phoneplus available for everyone.

That’s the way Phoneplus story began!

Finally in 2011, we founded BambooMedia inc., a Delaware, USA based company. This incorporation is editing the Phoneplus service, going on its mission to make phone calls easily affordable for everyone globally on iPhone and Android.
